Update on Phase Three Iconography
The Phase Three Iconography Program is well underway. The Covid-19 Pandemic has created a delay for installing the medallions and the standing saints. The timeline for the Iconographer, Tom Clark, to return is between the months of October through January, dependent on the pandemic. As of today, there remain only eight more icons to be donated. On the south wall, which will have scenes from the parables of Christ, there remain the parables of Christ the Sower and Christ the Good Shepherd. Also on this wall, the pinnacle story in the Old Testament of Moses receiving the Ten Commandments. On the north wall, that has many of the powerful stories of Jesus’ miracles, there remain, the Miracle of Jesus healing the woman bent over for eighteen years, Jesus teaching in the Temple, Noah’s Ark and the prophet Jonah in the belly of the sea beast. These icons are powerful spiritual apps that will tell the stories of the holy scriptures for generations to come.
