The Archangel Michael Sunday School offers structured religious education to our church's youth. The Archangel Michael Sunday School begins on Sunday September 19th. Sunday School begins every Sunday at 9:30 AM. Classes are offered from Nursery through Young Adults, with students ranging from three years old to high school. The Director of Sunday School is Anna Vrettos. If you would like to volunteer with the Sunday School or have any questions, please contact Anna at the Sunday School office. The books and curriculum are based on the resources provided by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese and Father Dennis. Along with teaching our children the weekly lessons about our Orthodox faith, we hope to foster an understanding of stewardship. Weekly offering envelopes are available to all children so that they can present their gift. The lesson is learned not from the enclosed amount, but rather from the act of giving. Every May we mail completed registration forms with a cover letter to all returning students, so that all you need to do is attach a check for book fees and mail in the registration forms. The registration fee covers the cost of books and supplies for the students. For new students registration forms are available at the Church Entrance, Church office, Sunday School office and can be DOWNLOADED HERE, so that anyone can fill out a new form and return it to the office.. |
